Golden Onyeama Augustine on Tuesday hosted members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gloucester Ward Nine in Aba South Local Government Area in a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting aimed at strengthening party unity ahead of the forthcoming Ward Congress. Describing the gathering as a pre-congress meeting, Onyeama said it was convened in the spirit of love, solidarity, and shared commitment to ensuring a seamless and successful congress exercise in the ward.
The meeting witnessed an impressive turnout, drawing party executives, ward leaders, stakeholders, women leaders, youths, and a significant number of new members who recently joined the APC. The atmosphere reflected renewed enthusiasm and collective resolve among members to consolidate the party’s structure at the grassroots level. Notably, silent achiever Emeka Victor Alozie paid a courtesy visit to Onyeama ahead of the meeting, further underscoring the importance attached to the engagement.
Addressing the gathering, Onyeama urged members to remain steadfast, loyal, and actively involved in party activities, assuring them that the dividends of their dedication would soon reach the grassroots. He reiterated confidence in the leadership and vision of the Abia APC Leader, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, whose commitment to strengthening the party in Abia State continues to inspire members across the state.
He also charged members not to relent in canvassing and mobilising more supporters in preparation for future electoral victories, particularly the re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. Onyeama expressed appreciation to all attendees for their massive turnout and unwavering support, assuring them that better days lie ahead for both the party and the people at the grassroots.
