The media office of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has challenged President Bola Tinubu to personally defend his administration’s record before Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections, rather than leave the task to party leaders and political allies.
A statement on Thursday by Idris Zekeri, spokesperson for Obi’s media office, said the president should be prepared to answer questions on policies and his performance instead of leaving political allies and party leaders to campaign on his behalf.
