The bustling city of Aba, famously known as Enyimba City, will come alive on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, as thousands of spirited youths, fitness enthusiasts, and residents gear up for a high-energy Solidarity and Fitness Walk to show appreciation to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for his unwavering commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people of Abia.
This event, themed “Appreciating the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, for Promise Kept,” is not just a walk, it is a bold expression of gratitude and support from the youth constituency and the broader Abia community.
Spearheading the solidarity walk is Engr. Chinedu Onyeizu, the dynamic 2023 Labour Party senatorial candidate for Abia South. He will lead participants in a colorful procession, underscoring the people’s collective acknowledgment of the transformative impact of Governor Otti’s administration, especially in youth empowerment, infrastructure revival, and governance transparency.
The walk is organized by Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, who has been instrumental in rallying Abia youths behind a vision of progressive leadership and civic engagement.
