The ongoing community tour of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy Governorship Candidate in Anambra State, Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, has continued to attract massive cheers and admiration from Ndi Anambra who applauded her track record of service and commitment to humanity.

Residents and community leaders in Alor, Awada, Awka-Etiti, Enekwesumpu, Awka, Amawbia and Nnobi trooped out in their numbers to receive the distinguished senator, describing her as a dependable leader with a proven record of performance both in the banking sector and in legislative service.

Speaking during the interactive sessions, Ekwunife vowed to take governance in Anambra to an admirable level if elected alongside the APC Governorship Candidate, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu. She decried the poor state of governance under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), stating that after 22 years in power, the ruling party had failed to meet the expectations of the people.

“After 22 years, a person is expected to be mature and useful to himself and society. Unfortunately, APGA has not lived up to that expectation,”

The APC Deputy Governorship Candidate outlined key components of their development blueprint, including a proposed increase in the minimum wage to over ₦100,000, improved healthcare delivery, expanded skill acquisition programmes, and massive investment in human capital development.

“As a mother, I understand the pain of putting food on the table. Our government will prioritize workers’ welfare, ensure zero taxation for low-income earners, and uplift the standard of living for every Anambra household,”

She urged registered voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), arrive early at polling units, and vote peacefully for the APC in the forthcoming November 8 governorship election.

According to her, Anambra people should brace up for a new era of accountable leadership, infrastructural transformation, and inclusive growth under the APC government.
