British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, has honoured two of his late friends by tattooing their names on his arm. The gesture comes weeks after Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele died in a car crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.

A London-based studio, Fulham Tattoo, shared photos of the tattoos on Instagram this Thursday, revealing that Joshua walked in unannounced for his first session. The studio thanked the two-time world champion for the surprise visit.

Ghami and Ayodele were killed on December 29, 2025, when the Lexus Jeep they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck. Joshua, who was also in the vehicle, survived the crash, was hospitalised, and later discharged.

The boxer attended the funerals of both men, who were key members of his team, as tributes continued to pour in from fans and the boxing community in Nigeria and abroad.
