The Arewa Integrity Group stands firmly behind Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man and Chairman of the Dangote Group, as he takes a stand against defamation by Kaduna-based businessman Kailani Mohammed.

The allegations made by Mohammed, questioning Dangote’s source of wealth and suggesting involvement in “unclean business” in Port Harcourt in the 1980s, are baseless and unfounded. Dangote has categorically denied these claims, stating he never conducted any business in Port Harcourt during that period.
As a respected international businessman, Dangote’s reputation is crucial to his vast business interests. The statements made by Mohammed have not only damaged his reputation but also have the potential to impact his business relationships and investments.

We support Dangote’s decision to take legal action against Mohammed, seeking a retraction of the statements, a public apology, and ₦100 billion in damages. This is a justified step in protecting his name and business.
We urge Kailani Mohammed to retract his statements and issue a public apology to Aliko Dangote, failing which we support Dangote’s right to seek justice through the courts.

The Arewa Integrity Group believes in upholding the principles of truth, fairness, and justice. We stand with Aliko Dangote in this matter and condemn any attempts to defame or undermine his reputation.
