Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has hailed the Supreme Court judgment affirming David Mark as the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The apex court delivered its ruling this Thursday, setting aside a previous order that had stalled the leadership transition within the party.
Justice Mohammed Garba, in the lead judgment, held that preservative orders cannot persist once a matter has been conclusively resolved, effectively ending the long-standing leadership dispute.
Reacting to the verdict, Atiku described it as a victory for millions of Nigerians but cautioned supporters against complacency, stating that the road to rescuing the country remains long.
The ruling is seen as a significant boost for the ADC and broader opposition efforts to consolidate their structures as preparations for future electoral cycles intensify.
