The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, as he marks his 61st birthday anniversary.
In a message made available to newsmen and issued on behalf of his family and the good people of Bende Federal Constituency, Kalu described Governor Otti as a “big brother, friend and governor,” commending his dedication to the growth and development of Abia State.
The Deputy Speaker praised Otti’s commitment to improving the welfare of residents, noting that calls for greater efforts to advance the state should not be seen as disregarding the progress already recorded under his administration.
“The call for more work is to better the lot of our people and does not diminish the efforts already made,” he stated.
Acknowledging the inherent challenges of governance, the lawmaker expressed strong confidence in the collective resolve of stakeholders to sustain positive transformation across the state.
He stated that he is “always committed to partnering with you to build a brighter future for our State. I wish you many more years in good health. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency.”
