Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, PhD, CFR, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Chinonyerem Emmanuel Oji on his promotion to the esteemed rank of Rear Admiral in the Nigerian Navy.
Oji, who hails from Oboro, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, was among the Senior Officers decorated by the Deputy Speaker alongside the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas,at a ceremony held at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja on Monday.
In a statement, Kalu lauded Oji’s dedication and hardwork, saying that his promotion is a reflection of years of exceptional service to the nation.
The Deputy Speaker however encouraged him to continue making significant contributions to the Nigerian Navy and the country at large.
“Your dedication, hard work, and unrelenting service to Nigeria are truly inspiring. We look forward to seeing your continued contributions to the nation’s maritime security and development. I wish you continued success in your naval career”, Kalu said.
