A DSS witness told a Federal High Court in Abuja that alleged terrorist negotiator Tukur Mamu received ₦50 million from a terrorist leader, Shugaba, as heard in audio files recovered from his devices.

Mamu, arrested in Egypt in 2022 and linked to the Abuja–Kaduna train attack, allegedly coordinated ransom payments, communicated frequently with the terrorists, and instructed relatives to hide his valuables. DSS later recovered cash—including about $300,000—cars, and other items.
The court admitted voice recordings, device analyses, car documents, and victims’ statements as evidence.
Hearing continues on Wednesday
