Family members are mourning the tragic death of a pregnant woman, identified only as Mseve, who was reportedly killed by suspected herdsmen in Taraba State, Nigeria.

According to her family, the incident claimed both Mseve and her unborn child. Her relative, Terhemen Paul Imoter, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook on Sunday, January 11, 2026, expressing grief over the loss:
“You and your unborn child were slaughtered and killed by Fulani herdsmen in Taraba state. But they too are not going to live till eternity. May the Lord accept your soul and your innocent unborn child to rest with the angels in heaven. Rest in peace, kid sister.”
The incident highlights ongoing tensions between herders and local communities in parts of Northern Nigeria, where such violent clashes have led to loss of lives and property.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the attack, and investigations are expected as family members and communities seek justice for the deceased and her unborn child.
