The Federal Government has congratulated actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele over the record-breaking success of her movie, “Behind the Scenes.”
The National Orientation Agency described the film’s performance as a major boost to Nigeria’s creative industry and a sign of growing global interest in Nigerian stories.
The movie has crossed ₦2.1 billion at the Nigerian box office and also earned strong figures in Canada and North America.
The agency noted that the feat further confirms Nollywood’s rising international profile and Akindele’s consistent dominance at the African box office.
