Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara met President Bola Tinubu behind closed doors at the Aso Rock Villa this Monday.
Fubara’s visit comes as rumours grow that he may dump the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress following fresh political tension in Rivers State.
The three lawmakers loyal to Fubara have not resumed sitting since emergency rule ended in September, adding to uncertainty around his future.
