The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has warned Nigerians to ignore a fake election timetable circulating online for the 2027 general elections.
The commission said it has not released any dates, schedules, or plans for the 2027 polls.
INEC urged the public and political stakeholders to rely only on its official website and verified social media platforms for information.
Meanwhile, the commission has begun distributing Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the February 21 Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory.
