Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of popular actor Odira Nwobu.
Confirming the tragic news, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, revealed that Odira was among nine influencers who travelled to South Africa for a work engagement. According to him, the actor passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Monday, November 24. Rollas added that an autopsy is being awaited to ascertain the cause of death.
Although unconfirmed, some reports allege that Odira had battled high blood pressure before he suddenly died in his hotel room.
Newsmirror recalls that the actor survived a serious car accident in Lagos just a few months ago.
