Read the emotional tribute penned down by his daughter, Uju Felicitas Odonwodo-Nwoga

On the 17th of May marked 1 year we buried my brother but I couldn’t post because my dad decided to join him on the 12th of May.

A GREAT IROKO TREE HAS FALLEN!

He would have been 87 today but I guess he made up his mind not to celebrate this years birthday with us but with the angels instead.

My dad grew up in an era where showing love was seen as a sign of weakness. He wasn’t taught to express emotions openly, so he often showed love through actions rather than words. But the day I truly understood the depth of his love was after my fibroid surgery years ago. He was too sick to visit me in the hospital, and when i came back after 1 week I walked into his room and on seeing me, he broke down in tears.
In that instant, I saw the raw, unconditional love he had for me. Happy birthday, Aguvuvo! Happy birthday, Ob’le’etu’ugo! I love you always and forever.

Please this was very difficult for me to type. Try not to make it more difficult. Thank you!!!

Rest on Nnam.

You and Jp should now team up because it seems he has been sleeping.
