Bangkok, Thailand – December 11, 2025: Thai Immigration Bureau police have arrested 36-year-old Nigerian national Ezidom Collins Chibuike for selling drugs to foreign tourists in the Inthamara area of Bangkok.
Authorities said the arrest followed a tip-off that Chibuike was supplying cocaine and ecstasy to visitors. Surveillance and field verification confirmed his activities before police executed a controlled sting operation.
An undercover officer arranged a purchase via WhatsApp, requesting 40 ecstasy pills and 10 grams of cocaine, worth approximately ฿102,000. Chibuike delivered the drugs at a condominium in Soi Inthamara 25, where officers moved in and arrested him without resistance, seizing all narcotics on the spot.
During questioning, Chibuike admitted ownership of the drugs and said he obtained them from another African national, but refused to identify the supplier. He planned to sell the drugs for profit to tourists.
Police charged him with illegally selling Category 1 narcotics (ecstasy) and Category 2 narcotics (cocaine). He has been transferred to Bang Sue Police Station as investigators examine his digital records, travel history, and potential accomplices.
Deputy Commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, Pol. Maj. Gen. Panthana Nuchanart, highlighted the multi-team coordination behind the operation and urged the public to continue providing tips that could aid law enforcement. Officers also announced heightened surveillance in Inthamara and other tourist-heavy areas of Bangkok to curb drug-related activities.
