Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, supported by the Nigeria Labour Congress, staged a protest on Monday at the National Industrial Court in Abuja over unresolved labour issues.

The action is part of an ongoing total and indefinite strike, which the NLC says is necessary due to repeated neglect of workers’ welfare by the FCTA leadership.

Protesters marched with placards calling for leadership changes, payment of promotion arrears, better working tools, and an end to what they described as unfair treatment.

The demonstration disrupted activities around the court, as workers vowed to continue the strike until their demands are addressed.
