Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said his focus is not on becoming president but on seeing Nigeria work for its citizens.

Obi stated this Tuesday during an interview, saying he is concerned about the economic hardship facing Nigerians and the growing number of young people struggling to earn a living.
He stressed that his priority is to create opportunities, reduce poverty, promote social inclusion and ensure better management of public resources.
Obi also said Nigeria can achieve meaningful progress through investments in critical sectors such as education and human capital development.
