The Oha Nsulu Unity Forum, under the able leadership of Dr. Eric Opah (Oke Oji Abia), has extended congratulations to a former member of the House of Representatives that represented Aba North and South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Uzo Azubuike.

Uzo Azubuike an astute, politician, lawyer, businessman and community development advocate rose from the ranks in his political trajectory as a Local Government Councillor, Local Government Secretary, two term member of Abia State House of Assembly, where he became the Deputy Speaker from 2007 to 2011 and would later become a member of the House of Representatives, representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2015, capping it with ” Aba must be heard” mantra.

He was the prestigious House Committee Chairman on public petitions, a position not readily available for first timers at that level and later became the Commissioner for Agriculture in Abia State (2015 -2017).
Azubuike prides himself as a farmer, no wonder he serves fresh fruit juice whenever you have the privilege to visit him in his country home. He is also a strong advocate for infrastructural development, youth empowerment and poverty alleviation especially in the rural communities.

Azubuike is recognized for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in providing job opportunities, scholarships and supporting healthcare initiatives in rural communities, Aba urban and Abia state at large.
Dr. Opah described the celebrant and distinguished parliamentarian and former Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, as a true son of Nsulu who has distinguished himself in all his fields of endeavour and judiciously utilized his God-given opportunities to better the lives of the people and society at large.
The association, while extending warm birthday wishes, prayed for God’s continued blessings of good health, long life, and prosperity as he continues to make meaningful impacts in the lives of people and society at large.
