Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as OdumoduBlvck, has called on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to halt the practice of posting fresh graduates to states other than their home regions.

In a post on his Instagram page, the rapper appealed to the scheme’s management to consider the safety of young graduates, citing the growing insecurity across the country. He urged that parents and youths be spared additional risk by allowing them to serve closer to their homes.
OdumoduBlvck wrote that the decision would show empathy for families whose children are already facing a dangerous security landscape nationwide.
This appeal comes amid rising concerns about the safety of NYSC members, especially in states currently experiencing banditry, kidnappings, and other violent incidents.
