The House of Representatives has called on President Bola Tinubu to deploy a comprehensive security strategy to flush out bandits and kidnappers from their hideouts across the country.

The lawmakers made the call this Tuesday after adopting a motion on the rising cases of banditry, kidnappings and attacks on schools and places of worship.
The House expressed concern that growing insecurity is disrupting education, threatening religious activities and worsening economic hardship in many communities.
Lawmakers also urged the Federal Government to secure vulnerable schools and worship centres, ensure the release of abducted victims and restore public confidence in the nation’s security architecture.
