Ikpeghieghi Movement, a key group within the Nigeria Democratic Congress, has announced its official endorsement of Peter Obi for President in 2027.
According to their official endorsement, the group emphasized that given Peter Obi’s remarkable track record and performance while in office, it is incumbent upon them to reveal their stand prior to the 2027 presidential election.
In his address, Comr. Wisdom Chukwuemeka, leader of the Ikpeghieghi Movement, stated that Peter Obi’s performance as Governor is flawless and should serve as a key criterion for Nigerians to vote overwhelmingly for him.
He also seized the opportunity to issue a fervent appeal on behalf of the group, urging the leadership of NDC to grant Pastor Chibuzor Nwosu the Osisioma/Obingwa/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency ticket, citing his impressive track record, trustworthiness, and ability to deliver for the party
Chief Levi Olewe, the group’s secretary, also stated that based on Peter Obi’s performance in office, he is the most qualified candidate to govern Nigeria and endorsed Pastor Chibuzor Nwosu to secure the party’s ticket for Osisioma/Obingwa/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency
The meeting’s highlight was the formal proclamation of Peter Obi as their sole presidential candidate and Pastor Chibuzor Nwosu as their sole candidate for the House of Representatives Osisioma/Obigwa/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency.
