The 2027 APC Governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Hon. Mascot Uzor-Kalu has walked – the – talk and became an early bird as he stormed the APC Headquarters in Abuja to buy the 2027 Abia Governorship nomination form.
Speaking with newsman after the purchase of the form, Mascot Uzor-Kalu said, ‘ ” Today, in a clear demonstration of my commitment to contest the 2027 governorship election in Abia State under the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), I took the valiant step of purchasing the party’s nomination form, thereby becoming the first aspirant to do so and to contest the upcoming primaries.
” To my teeming supporters and followers, do not be shaken; remain resolutely steadfast, for I did not start this journey only to back down for anybody halfway ‘
” My appreciation goes to all who have believed in my vision for a greater Abia, the State Working Committee of the Abia APC, the National Working Committee (NWC), and all leaders and stakeholders of our party for steering the party in the right direction”
Recall that recently, the Abia chapter of the APC has reached a melting pot in the leadership hierarchy of the party in the state, between Senator Orji Uzor-Kalu and the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.
As the process for 2027 electioneering campaign has just started, there are indeed, interesting days ahead.
