The nominees for the 2026 Ballon d’Or have been announced, with top football clubs, players, coaches and young talents recognised for their performances during the 2025/26 season.
The award organisers released the nominations this Tuesday, marking the 70th edition of the prestigious football awards.
Among the nominees for Men’s Club of the Year are Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, FK Bodø/Glimt and Flamengo, while Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Club América, Manchester City and OL Lyonnes made the women’s shortlist.
More nominees across the men’s and women’s player categories, including strikers, young players, goalkeepers and coaches, are expected to be announced as the full list is released.
