Raphinha and Fermin Lopez scored as Spanish champions Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 this Thursday to maintain their perfect start to the La Liga season.
Raphinha put Barca ahead in the 37th minute after rounding goalkeeper Unai Simon, while Lopez sealed the victory in the 82nd minute.
Barcelona dominated much of the game and hit the woodwork twice, with new signing Rodri making his debut after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The victory keeps Hansi Flick’s side perfect after two league matches, following their 5-0 win over Elche last weekend.
