The Chieftains of All Progressive Congress (APC) , Osisioma Ngwa LGA Chapter , on Monday 17th November 2025 , had a heart to heart evening with the apex Leader of APC in Osisioma Ngwa LGA, Distinguished Senator Nkechi Nwaogu.
The large number of the Stakeholders of APC Osisioma Ngwa Chapter , was led by Rt Hon Bishop Kennedy Njoku,Hon Prince Enyinnaya Ubani, Chief Hon Ogumnka Iheanacho, Dr Tony Mgbaraine, Hon Chief Iheyinna Mgbahuru, in a company of other eminient Party Chieftains.
The visit of those party Leaders of Osisioma Ngwa to Mama APC was to reaffirm their solidarity to Distinguished Senator Nwaogu’s position as the apex Leader par Excellence and the undeniable rallying point of APC faithful and good people of Osisioma Ngwa LGA and beyond.
The APC Stakeholders through, a party stalwart and Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) Osisioma Ngwa LGA Coordinator, Chief Ogumnka Iheanacho unequivocally pledged their unflinching support and solidarity to President Bola Tinubu and assured to work tirelessly for his re-election and victory of all APC candidates in 2027.
Chief Ogumnka said the visit was on dual grounds
First was to brief Senator Nwaogu on the positive impacts of the meeting the party Chieftains had with her some months ago.
Hon Iheanacho, in his word, stated, ” we complied with your directive our Distinguished Senator Nwaogu , to close ranks with relevant stakeholders and the Good people of osisioma Ngwa in growing the party.
Hon Ogumnka revealed that the activities of these men who visited Senator Nwaogu had sent a strong signal that if an election is conducted today in Abia, that APC will win in a landslide in osisioma Ngwa
He said that the robust APC today in Osisioma Ngwa was the grounds for the ruling party in Abia not to be at ease with APC in Osisioma Ngwa LGA
He informed Senator Nwaogu that APC has been fully reinvigorated, manifested in the verifiable fact that every ward in Osisioma Ngwa is APC.
A briefing on the successful Inuaguration of RHP was presented . Chief Ogumnka further revealed that the event was nearly frustrated by the agents of the Abia State Government through an attempt to seal the private event centre booked for the ceremony for no cogent reason.
Chief Ogumnka commended the prompt intervention of Deputy Speaker House of Reps, His Excellency Rt.Hon Ben Kalu, who provided adequate security at the venue to ensure the Inuaguration was held .
Chief Iheanacho said that the APC Chieftains that gathered at Mama APC residence in Osisioma were men of proven integrity who have shown commitment to strengthening the party in the LGA
The former Osisioma Ngwa Council Chairman, further said ,that another strong reason the party faithful visited was for a clarion call on Distinguished Senator Nwaogu as a leader with unparrarelled virtues, to intervene to maintain party discipline in APC Osisioma Ngwa LGA and to ensure that the agents of distabilization do not thrive in the party.
Hon Prince Enyinnaya Esiaba Ubani gave affirmative words and assured that the prospects of APC in the 2027 general elections from top to bottom were bright.
The progress reports from various wards were presented, as well as some challenges .
A strong request was made to Mama APC to intervene to maintain zero tolerance for indiscipline in the party.
Rt Hon Bishop Kennedy Njoku appealed to Senator Nwaogu to go full blast to crush dichotomy in Osisioma Ngwa APC.
The erstwhile Abia House of Assembly Speaker , Bishop Kennedy concluded his speech with a motion to pass a vote of confidence on Senator Nwaogu as a very performing apex leader in the LGA and his motion was unanimously adopted by the delegation of stakeholders in attendance
Senator Nkechi thanked the party leaders for coming on a solidarity visit and for the progress report presented.
She expressed pleasure over the tremendous progress recorded in Osisioma Ngwa LGA APC.
Distinguished senator Nkechi Nwaogu,revealed that ,she has thoroughly assessed the performance of representatives of Abia Central at the National Assembly for some years now and has observed that no meaningful impacts have been made within the time under review.
Senator Nkechi acknowledged that APC performed absymally poor in the last few years and expressed gladness that the party has broken new ground .
Distinguished Senator Nkechi, Said under her leadership in the party ,that there will be no form of division.
Senator Nwaogu warned that under frosty relationships in the party , that no election could be won
Senator said,her interest in serving her people always was for a maximum common good of her people.
She strongly emphasized the need for a United APC in Osisioma Ngwa and elsewhere
The vote of thanks was delivered by Chief Hon Iheyinna Mgbahuru. He appreciated the apex leader and commended the party chieftains for their solidarity visit and vote of confidence.
