From serving as the Pioneer Youth Development Officer to becoming the First Deputy Chairman of Aba North Local Government Area, Hon Dame Blessing Nwagba has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to community development.
Her political journey reached historic milestones when she became the First Female Member-Elect of the Abia State House of Assembly in 1998 and later the First Woman to Serve Two Terms in the Assembly. She also made history as the First Female Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Abia State, the First Zonal Chairman of PDP in Abia State, the First Woman Governorship Candidate in Abia State, and the First Woman from Abia South Senatorial District to run for Senate.
