Benjamin Okezie Kalu, representing Bende Federal Constituency may soon become a thing of the past as the young brother to Sen. Kalu and a front runner in Abia governorship race, 2027, Chief Mascot Uzor-kalu kalu has called on the duo to sheathe their swords and allow peace to rain.
The governorship hopeful, made an emotion ladden post in his verified Facebook page, assuring he will engage Leaders from Bende LGA, where both APC Chieftains hail from, to achieve peace.

This morning, I choose the path of peace. A lot has been said about the relationship between my brother, His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and my friend, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, and I urge both sides of the divide to sheathe their swords. Let us toe the path of peace.
I will be reaching out to some leaders and elders of Bende LGA to seek a peaceful resolution to the rift between His Excellency Orji Kalu and Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu. The idea is to take Benjamin to his leader, who is also our leader, to make peace.
After politics, there is still family, and there are still relationships. This is the path I want us to follow. I appeal to all supporters on both sides to sheathe their swords. Stop all the bickering. Stop all the insults. Stop all the hostile exchanges. Let us move forward and embrace peace at this time.
