Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has hinted at taking another break from social media and retreating to the countryside.
Cuppy disclosed this in a post on X on Tuesday, accompanied by a photo of herself gazing into the distance.
“Just still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside and buying 3 goats. Nothing major,” she wrote.
The billionaire heiress, who is the daughter of businessman Femi Otedola, has maintained a strong presence across social media platforms despite frequently facing criticism and trolling online.
Cuppy has about 8.3 million followers on Instagram, 6.9 million on X and 4.3 million on Facebook.
Her latest comment is not the first time she has considered stepping away from social media. In January, she announced a temporary break to “reset and reconnect”, saying she needed quiet time and wanted to be “hidden with God” while undertaking a 21-day fast.
“Never done this before but I’m taking a short break from social media.
“I need some quiet time with myself and time being hidden with God. I’m okay and just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.
“I’ll be back,” she wrote on January 5.
She returned to social media on February 9.
