The Interim National Chairman of the Labour Party, Nenadi Usman, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its professionalism during the party’s nationwide ward congresses.

Usman gave the commendation this Thursday in a statement issued in Abuja, following the conclusion of the exercise across the country’s 8,809 political wards.
The LP chair, who participated in the exercise in Kaduna State, expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of members and the oversight role played by INEC officials.
The ward congresses mark the first stage of the party’s structural reorganization, with a national convention scheduled to take place on April 28 in Umuahia, Abia State.
