Dr. Eric Opah is the CEO and founder of Fortune Global Shipping & Logistics Limited. He is a board member of the Nigeria-America Chamber of Commerce, an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IODN), and the President of Eric Opah Foundation.
He holds a BSc degree in Business Administration. He started his career in the logistics industry with Panalpina World Transport Group, and due to his passion for excellence, he soon gained considerable industry experience in the company before setting up his own business.
Over the years, Dr. Eric Opah has gained significant experience in the global logistics, shipping, and supply chain industry. He has also demonstrated a sublime level of entrepreneurial ingenuity uncommon among his peers. Dr. Opah’s additional expertise in Airline handling operations contributed to the establishment of China Southern Airlines in Nigeria, where he became the Director of Cargo Operations. Above all, he has helped redefine Nigeria’s logistics and supply chain business by intensifying his advocacy for transparency, trustworthiness, and compliance, upon which his core business values have been built.
Following his years of distinguished leadership and remarkable brilliance in the freight forwarding and logistics industry, Dr. Eric Opah is an outstanding fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Logistics, and a Fellow, of the Nigerian Ports and Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria. Most recently, in May 2023, he was conferred with an honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (DBA) from the American Heritage University of Southern California, USA, in recognition of his commitment to industry and intellectual excellence.
His record par excellence is not limited to his entrepreneurial and business expertise alone. Dr. Opah is a philanthropist, a grassroots community developer, and a strong youth development and empowerment advocate. His commitment to community development led to the establishment of the ERIC OPAH FOUNDATION (focused on empowering the younger generation through educational grants and diverse support) and the MBUBO TRANSFORMATION GROUP, through which community development projects are championed.
Dr. Opah Eric Opah is married to Mrs. Christiana Opah, and they are blessed with three lovely children.
