The Ogun State Police have arraigned Adeniyi Kayode, the driver of a Lexus SUV linked to the accident involving former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed that he was charged this Friday before a Sagamu Magistrate Court.
In a statement issued in Abeokuta on January 2, 2026, the police said the case has been adjourned.
The next hearing is scheduled for January 20, 2026, “to allow for further proceedings,” the statement added.
