Businessman, Eric Opah has won the governorship ticket of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Abia State.
He defeated former Minister of State for Science and Technology, Henry Ikoh to win the ticket.
The result of the primary election was announced by the APC governorship and House of Assembly returning officer, Mr. Bato Nylong.
According to the returning officer, Eric Opah scored 126, 977, while the runner-up, Henry Ikoh scored 5, 905 votes.
