The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has screened and cleared former Chief Press Secretary to ex-Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, Mr. Enyinnaya Appolos, Anastasia Odochi, and 16 other aspirants to contest the party’s primary election for the Abia State House of Assembly.
The primaries are scheduled to hold on Friday, May 22, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Appolos emerged as the sole PDP aspirant for the Obingwa West State Constituency seat after scaling through the party’s screening process.
