President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his administration’s commitment to addressing insecurity and strengthening the economy as the country celebrates Easter.

He made the statement in his Easter message delivered this Friday, noting that the season symbolises sacrifice, resilience, and triumph over adversity, and he commended the armed forces for their ongoing sacrifices in protecting the nation.
Tinubu recalled his visit to Plateau State on Thursday, where he commiserated with victims of violence and emphasised that security chiefs had assured him of progress, while also highlighting ongoing international cooperation to enhance Nigeria’s capacity to fight terrorists and bandits.
The president urged Nigerians to support lawful efforts, promote unity, reject forces that threaten stability, and participate responsibly in democracy, stressing that ongoing economic reforms, though challenging, are necessary to achieve shared prosperity for all citizens.
