Nottingham Forest shocked Liverpool with a dominant 3-0 win at Anfield this Saturday, worsening the champions’ struggles this season. The defeat marked Liverpool’s sixth loss in their last seven Premier League games, leaving them eight points behind leaders Arsenal.

Forest opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through Brazilian defender Murillo, who finished off a corner to silence the home crowd. Nicolo Savona then extended the lead early in the second half, putting Liverpool under even more pressure.
Liverpool pushed forward in search of a response but were punished again with 12 minutes left. Morgan Gibbs-White sealed the victory after reacting quickly to Alisson’s save from Omari Hutchinson.
The loss adds to Liverpool’s growing frustration as they battle to revive their title defence. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, celebrated one of their biggest away wins in recent years.
